Accommodations in Sjoa
Sjoa Vandrerhjem/Aamodt Gård are located in beautiful and calm natural surroundings between the rivers Sjoa and Gudbrandsdalslågen. Sjoa Vandrerhjem was originally a farm from the 1200s, and we offer guest rooms and facilities at a high standard. You can either choose family huts, or 2-, 3- or 4-bed-rooms in the new building. If you are looking for simpler accommodation, we can offer you both lavvo (traditional Sami tent) and open shelter , which are both close to the sanitary facilities.
All of our rooms and huts have their own bathrooms, and we are the only rafting tour provider along Sjoa that offers this.
One of our huts is called “Skinnbue” and is a converted old stable that houses 6 people.
Right at the base is our lavvo/gapahuk camp. Room for 50 people
Huts with bathroom, sleeping alcove, living room and mini kitchen. Room for 6 persons
We now have new double rooms, 3- and 4-bed-rooms in the converted Barn.
